The University of North Carolina, otherwise known as the UNC Tar Heels are widely known as the college that put Michael Jordan on the map. When MJ as a 19-year old freshman hit the game winner to win the NCAA title in 1982. Other notable players to come out of Chapel Hill include Vince Carter, James Worthy and Rasheed Wallace.
